Community. Collaboration. Connection.
Shared Soil Productions is dedicated to uplifting stories by and about the Queer-BIPOC community. Each project is crafted with intention, rooted in lived experience, and driven by a commitment to authenticity and inclusivity.
Our flagship project, NATIVES, follows a group of unapologetic, queer native New Yorkers navigating adulting in the projects of NYC. With only 2 episodes, the show has been viewed by over 220K+ people across over 20+ countries and continues to build a passionate audience. We recently raised over $20K through community crowdfunding to support the production of Season 1. Stream NATIVES now and follow our journey on Instagram, X, and Facebook.
We also produced the award-winning feature documentary My Hair, My Rules, exploring Men of Color’s emotional connection to their hair. The film received the Audience Choice Award at the 2021 New York Lift-Off Film Festival. Watch the film now!
